Thrilling Romances #22
Thrilling Romances v1 #22, 1952 - Engaged to be married, Marian notices tension between her fiancee and her beloved little brother. A mere three pages long, Alex Toth tells the story succinctly and efficiently. Panels are numerous without feeling too crowded. The characters’ faces and expressions are delicately drawn. Toth even opens with a visual metaphor, depicting a woman pulled in two different directions. Other artists in this golden age comic include John Celardo, Vince Colletta and Art Saaf. This is 2 of 4 Thrilling Romances issues by Toth.
